The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperial girls basketball team was hoping to steal the Medina-Pingree-Buchannan ‘Thunder’ last Tues., Jan. 10 in Medina, but when the final buzzer sounded it was the Thunder who prevailed, 54-44.

Five Place At Panther Booster Tourney

The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter wrestling team had five wrestlers place in the top six in the 21 team tournament held in Rugby.

After falling a night earlier, the Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter boy’s basketball team once again got back on the win track as they held on to win 55-53 over Lisbon Friday, Jan. 13 in Napoleon.

Jangula Brothers Both Place Second In Bismarck Rotary

The Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter wrestling team was one of 32 teams entered in the prestigious two-day Bismarck Rotary wrestling tournament. Teams entered in the tournament came from all over the state as well as neighboring states, with most schools being Class A.

Imperials Finish 4th In Stutsman Tourney

Hoping to get back on the winning track in the third and fourth place game of the Stutsman County Tournament, the Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter Imperials put up a good fight against the Kidder County Pirates before falling 45-59.

Girls Open New Year With Win

Playing for the first time since the Christmas break, Imperial senior Callie Thompson and junior Mackenzie Heflin combined for 40 of the teams 50 points in a girls’ basketball win over the state’s sixth ranked Grant County on Sat., Jan. 7.
