Santa Coming To Napoleon

The annual Santa Claus Day carnival will be held Saturday, December 8 at the Napoleon School Gym from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. or until prizes are gone.
New attractions this year include a breakfast and lunch for sale by the Napoleon Music Department, a story/craft time in the NPS library from 1-1:30 p.m., and also horse drawn sleigh rides (weather permitting) will be offered by Larry and Doreen Fettig.
In addition there will be a selfie booth where youngsters, as well as parents, may take their own photos with props using their own phone or camera. There will also be an opportunity for professional photos to be taken with Santa, as Cindy Essig of Photos by Cindy will be on hand.
The carnival, which is for children up to 11 years of age, will be filled with activities such as carnival games and face painting. Complimentary Santa gifts will be given away, along with nearly $2,500 in door prizes and free snacks.
The event is sponsored in part by the Napoleon Business Association (NBA), Napoleon Future Leaders (NFL), Napoleon American Legion, Napoleon Lions and Napoleon Public School.
NBA businesses are urged to assist with the carnival booths. Other volunteers are still needed, if interested in assisting please call Helen Braun at 754-2219.
Also ongoing in the school’s multi-purpose room, is a craft fair which will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m, with door prizes throughout the day.
Another weekend activity will be the Napoleon Lions Club turkey and ham bingo at . . .
